24 Layer Dobos Torte comprising of 12 individually baked layers of cake, 6 layers of French Chocolate Butter-cream and 6 Layers of Orange Flavored Italian Meringue.
Why bake one cake when you can bake 12?! They may sound like crazy words but the multi-hour effort this cake requires is worth every second. Moist, soft and very tasty, everyone should try this at least once. I opted for a chocolate orange flavor overall as that’s what my misses likes best but this can be easily adapted for any tastes you like. I would warn against using Creme Pat as the filling though as it tends to absorb into the cake itself, as I found out from experience!
